Our next History on Tap will be on a special night – Tuesday, December 10 – at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company. Take a magical trip down memory lane of past Christmas joys from Hopkinsville-Christian County!
Join museum staff as we examine the origins of Santa Claus, explore how the community observed Christmas traditions throughout the decades, and take a look back through the years to see what popular gifts were on everyone’s lists. You might even see a “Letter to Santa” from someone you know as we highlight some of those letters that were published in the Kentucky New Era throughout the 1980s.
This is the final History on Tap for 2024, so don’t be a Grinch or a Scrooge and miss out on all the holiday fun!
History on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting. Programs are typically held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.
