A Hopkinsville woman was charged with drug possession after she was reportedly found asleep at a gas pump on North Main Street Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they located 44-year-old Melissa Long sleeping in her vehicle at a gas pump on the lot of Circle K and were told she had been there for over 8 hours. Police say she consented to a search of her vehicle and marijuana, alprazolam pills, and two bags of meth were found.
She was arrested and charged with possession of meth, public intoxication, and possession of marijuana.
