A Crofton man was charged with trafficking drugs during a traffic stop on South Main Street in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 48-year-old Gregory Barnett for having six active warrants and found him to not have insurance or proper registration.
During the stop, he was reportedly found to have two grams of suspected meth, a glass pipe, and a large bottle of whiskey.
He was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, improper display of registration plate, and failure to produce an insurance card.
He also had warrants for failure to appear, theft by unlawful taking, possession of meth, and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
