A Hopkinsville man was charged after a report of an assault on Moores Drive in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 48-year-old Reginald Johnson hit his ex-wife in the face and jerked the steering wheel while she was driving then fled the area before law enforcement arrived.
Johnson was later located and arrested on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, alcohol intoxication in a public place, and fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
