Funeral services for 91-year-old Lillie Maye Cunningham of Cadiz will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home with Dr. Nick Clark, Rev. Paxton Redd and Scotty Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in East End Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz.

Sister – Milladean Gray, Lyon Co., KY;
Grandchildren – Brandon Fowler (Kelli), Cadiz, KY; and Andrea Fowler Hampton (Scotty), Cadiz, KY;
Great-children – Hunter Fowler (Amanda), Cadiz, KY; Mackenize Fowler (Shelby Johnson), Cadiz, KY; Taylor Hampton (Danielle), Cadiz, KY; and Jordan Hampton, Cadiz, KY;
Three great-great children – Justin Smurawa; Haydon Smurawa; Tori Smurawa; and Tucker Blane Hampton, due in June 2025.
Lillie Maye Cunningham was born in Princeton, KY on April 10, 1933, to John L. Peters and Flora Maye Johnson Peters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Mack Cunningham; two sisters, Mary Helen Cook and Dorothy Tosh and one brother, Garnett Peters.
She died Sunday, January 19, 2025, at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN.
As a young lady growing up Lillie Maye was a High School Cheerleader and a graduate of Butler High School. She was a former employee of Trigg Co. Schools, and worked alongside her husband, Mack, in their plumbing and electrical business as his secretary and bookkeeper. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was actively involved. She was a Cub Scout Leader, 4-H Leader, and in her later years assisted with Camp Cadiz.
