A tractor-trailer fire on Interstate 24 led to part of the Interstate being temporarily blocked in Trigg County Tuesday afternoon.
Trigg County emergency personnel say the tractor-trailer was found fully engulfed in flames leading to the westbound lanes of Interstate 24 being blocked at the 69 mile marker for several hours.
After the fire was extinguished, authorities had to work to remove ice from the road before the Interstate was reopened.
