There will be no services at this time for 61-year-old Albert “Big Al” Haley, of Hopkinsville.
Goodwin Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
His wife of 40 years, Elaine Haley, of Hopkinsville;
Daughter, Carol Haley McGar (Michael), of Pembroke;
Son, Will Haley (MaKayla), of Gracey;
Seven grandchildren: Brittany Nicole, Michael, Jr., Nicolas Wayne, Jason Dade, Alayna Jean, and Emma Jean McGar, and Leah Nicole Haley;
A sister, Janice Waldrop, Hopkinsville;
And two sisters-in-law, Lana Haley, Madisonville, and Roxanne Hollis, Hopkinsville.
He died at 9:35 AM, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
He was born on January 16, 1964, in Hopkinsville, to the late Beulah Carolyn Pyle Haley and Albert Wayne Haley, Sr.
Known as “Big Al” to his friends and family, Albert worked as a painter and welder and spent many years in factory work at C&F Stamping and Douglas Autotech.
Outside of work, Albert loved nothing more than spending the day outdoors, fishing when he could. He was also an avid NFL fan. He loved his family, especially as “Grampy” to his seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dannie Wayne Haley.
