Sue Ross, 88, of Hopkinsville

Sue Gresham Dulin Ross, 88, of Hopkinsville, KY passed to heaven on February 1, 2025, just before her 89th Birthday on February 3rd

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. David Tucker officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be on Thursday from noon until the funeral hour.  Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 

She was a native of Christian County, born February 3, 1936, and daughter of the late Otho G. Gresham and Myrtle Bivin Gresham.  She was retired from Luton Tatum Insurance Company.  She and her husband, Bob, co-owned a franchise of “Charles Potato Chips” for over 30 plus years.  She was a lifetime member of Second Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband:  James Donald Dulin, Sr.; her second husband:  Robert “Bob” Richard Ross; her son-in-law:  Tim Gilliland; her siblings:  Peggy Tankersley, Jack Gresham, and Jerry Gresham; and her great-granddaughter:  Emma Elizabeth Hale. 

Survivors include her son:  Jim (Judy) Dulin of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughters:  Jenny Dulin (Steve) Hockett of Thompson Station, TN and Julie Dulin Gilliland of Christian County, KY; her sister:  Patsy Ezell of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren:  Whitney Dulin (Matt) Holland, Lacey Dulin (Tyler) Petty, Stacy Hockett (Dan) McCarley, Matt (Morganne) Hockett, Emily Hockett (Anthony) Moore, James R. (Stacey) Gilliland, Rachel Gilliland (Matt) Bowling, and Sara Gilliland (Jason) Hale; and her great-grandchildren:  Bennett Holland, Baylor Holland, Tilly Petty, Layne McCarley, Dylan McCarley, Sienna Hockett, Logan Hockett, Harvey Hockett, Weston Moore, Eli Gilliland, Finn Bowling, Cort Bowling, Alva Bowling, Woods Bowling, Lettie Hale, Lila Hale, and Jameson Hale.
