Beverly Deanne Morse Hayes, 85, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:59 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY she was born July 15, 1939, the daughter of the late Garland C. Morse and Marjorie Lucille Witty Cansler. She retired after 40 years, as a Nosologist from Western State Hospital. She was of the Christian Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: James R. Thomasson, Frederick Stephen “Ricky” Morse, and Gary C. Morse; her sisters: Mildred King and Julia “Cheryl” Meyer; and her special nephews: Matthew Gran Morse and Tommy King.
Survivors include her husband: Donald H. Hayes; her sisters: Andrea (Dale) Simock of Murrells Inlet, SC, Debi (Roger) Powell, Edythe Reeves, and Allegra Pace all of Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers: Tony (Marilyn) Morse, and Greig (Connie) Cansler both of Hopkinsville, KY; and numerous: nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special acknowledgment to the staff of Home Instead for the special care provided over the past 19 months.
