Through the years, children throughout Kentucky have received monthly deliveries of education books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program.
Trigg County Imagination Library Coordinator Ashley Nichols says Trigg County children were among the first to receive books.

click to download audioThe Imagination Library program handed out over 34 million books to children throughout the United States. In 17 years, nearly 450 books a month have been given to children in Trigg County as they close in on nearly 90,000 books in Trigg alone.
Nichols says only 50% of eligible children in Trigg County are signed up to receive the books.
