Trigg County FFA Celebrates First National FFA Week in New Facilities

Trigg County FFA got to spend their first National FFA Week in the new facilities. Advisor Jodie P’Pool talks about the new shop and all the new perks.

P’Pool also talks about the benefits of having a hand-on area for students to learn.

Advisor Karen Nolcox heads the greenhouse side of things. She talks about what she teaches in the classroom.

Jennie Watts is the Trigg County FFA President. She talks about her two Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAE), what they had planned for FFA Week, and how FFA has helped her.

Jamie Lynn Hestand serves as the Treasurer. Her main SAE is working at Harper House and she also grows strawberries with her grandfather. Hestand talks about how this year has been for the chapter and what skills she will take into life.

Ethan Curling is the chapter’s Secretary and is also involved in many competitions like the Sr. Parliamentary Procedure competition. He talks about how FFA has helped him in his life and how it can benefit others.

As the Trigg County FFA chapter continues to grow and thrive in their new facilities, students and advisors alike are excited about the opportunities ahead.
