A disturbance between a man and woman led to shots being fired and the death of the woman on Pembroke Oak Grove Road Sunday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the 6000 block of Pembroke Oak Grove Road for a disturbance between 34-year-old Anthony Moore and a woman and were told Moore was armed with a gun.
While en route, deputies were reportedly told the sound of shots being fired was heard; when they arrived, they found the woman with a gunshot wound to the head.
The Christian County Coroner’s Office was called to help in the investigation.
Moore was arrested at the home and charged with murder and first-degree wanton endangerment. According to the Christian County Jail Moore was also arrested for fourth-degree assault on February 15th but was on court release.
There were three children at the home at the time of the shooting; they were not injured.
