A wreck on Eagle Way in Hopkinsville sent a child to a Nashville hospital Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 28-year-old Leslie Fleetwood of Elkton and a truck driven by 39-year-old Tiffany Kauffman of Crofton were both westbound when Fleetwood attempted to turn onto an I-169 exit ramp, and then she realized it was the wrong ramp.
Fleetwood then reportedly tried to get back into the westbound lanes and collided with Kauffman’s truck.
Kauffman’s passengers 10-year-old Jasmine Kauffman of Crofton along with 14-year-old Justin Brandon of Crofton and Fleetwood’s passenger 26-year-old Sabrina Fleetwood were taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health, with Jasmine Kauffman later being flown to a Nashville hospital due to her injuries.
The collision happened on Eagle Way between Prosperity Lane and North Main Street.
