A celebration of life for 72-year-old English Lacy, of Hopkinsville, will be 4 PM Saturday, May 24, in his backyard at 305 West Riverwood Drive.
Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Thursday, March 13, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Survivors include:
His wife, Sandra (Sandi) Boyd, of Hopkinsville;
His son, Frank (Rebecca) Lacy, of Russellville;
His daughter, Dr. Mary Lacy (Trisha Terhar), of Snohomish, Washington;
His step-daughters, Brandi (Brandon) Meacham and Marci (Nick) Earls, of Nashville, Tennessee; His brothers, Mac (Kim) Lacy, of Bardstown, and John (Sally) Lacy, of Columbus, Ohio;
His sister, Ann Tandy Lacy (Dan Kedding), of Urbana, Illinois;
Seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
He died of natural causes Saturday, March 8, 2025, at his residence.
He was born July 11, 1952, in Hopkinsville, son of late Frank Burbridge Lacy and Sara Lee Trabue Thorpe.
English graduated from Hopkinsville High School in 1970 and Western Kentucky University in 1976.
He received his CPA certification and practiced 48 years. He founded English Lacy & Co in 2008 and practiced with his wife until his retirement in 2024.
English was very active in the community, serving on numerous boards throughout his professional career.
