A joint investigation between the US Marshals Office and Oak Grove Police led to the arrest of two people wanted out of Illinois on Monday.
Oak Grove Police say 34-year-old Derrick Bailey of Lockport, Illinois, and 43-year-old Takyiah Jefferson of Joliet, Illinois, were both located in a home on Ashley Street in Oak Grove.
Bailey had warrants for failure to register a new address/sex offender registry violation second offense or greater, retail theft greater than $300, failure to reduce speed, and no driver’s license.
Jefferson was wanted on a warrant for causing child endangerment or death.
