Join us for a fireside chat with There There author Tommy Orange, moderated by Addison James, English Professor, Hopkinsville Community College, and a Christian County senior. Orange writes: I think reading books is a good place to start thinking about and understanding people’s stories you aren’t familiar with, outside your comfort zone and experience. A novel will ask you to walk in the character’s shoes, and this can build empathy.

This event will be a Virtual/Zoom with author, with audience meeting in the Alhambra Theatre.
