Christian County Public Schools are announcing the rollout of an informational website in support of the “Nickel Tax” that will be voted on during the November General Election.
Superintendent Mary Ann Gemmill says the website was created to help the community understand the need for the tax and why they need support and votes on November 5. She adds they want to be as transparent as possible and hopes the website will answer any questions or concerns.
Fundraising opportunities to support the passage of the “Nickel Tax” are provided through the Citizens for Christian County Kids Political Issues Committee.
Donations can be made to Citizens for Christian County Kids, PIC, c/o Jamie Peterson, Treasurer, 4537 Fort Campbell Boulevard, Suite 101, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
