Be the Light, an Awareness Walk for Cancer Patients

Journey Bags, a non-profit organization in Murray, KY, will host Be the Light, an Awareness Walk for cancer patients on Friday, March 28. We will gather at 6:30 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital Regional Cancer Center for registration, activities, and tours of the cancer center. We will begin walking at 7:30 to Purpose Church where luminaries honoring cancer patients will light a path into the church. We will then have a celebration of music and sharing.  As the walk is at night, we will carry/wear light wands and glow jewelry to shine a light on cancer. Over 400 walkers are currently registered to participate.
