Celebration of bell hooks 70th birthday – unveiling of new feature – Round Table Literary Park

Join us for a luncheon and short program in the Emerging Technologies Center, Anderson Hall to be followed by the reveal of the new aspirational feature in Round Table Literary Park to inspire and honor the legacy of Dr. bell hooks. September 25 2022 would have been bell hooks, Hopkinsville’s Gloria Jean Watkins 70th birthday. To inspire generations to aspire to what is possible, the HCC Foundation is adding a feature to Round Table Literary Park to honor bell hooks. The feature is sure to captivate the imagination of generations of visitors to come. This recognition of the contributions of hooks to thought and literature is a perfect addition to the park.
