Corn Days at the Homeplace

Come celebrate everything that is corn at the first annual Corn Days July 30-31, 2022, 10am-4pm. In 1850 it was a major crop to this area and here on the farm we use every bit of it. Explore the smells of popping and frying corn, make your own corn shuck doll, see demonstrations on how it was used to make bobbers and pipes. This day will highlight a staple that even today is part of everyday life.
