During this quarantine, we’ve heard references to the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918. We’ve seen the Philadelphia vs. St. Louis graph and learned how social distancing affected the spread of the disease. But did the Spanish flu hit Christian County? And if so, how badly?
Join Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County’s Alissa Keller for a virtual History Happy Hour, Friday, May 15, at 7pm to learn more about how Christian County fared during the worst pandemic of the 20th century.
History Happy Hour is just one piece of a fun Date Night with the Hopkinsville Brewing Company, Butter & Grace, and the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County. Your date night experience includes your favorite beer from the brewery, an appetizer and/or dessert from Butter & Grace, and the Zoom access code to the history program. You can also transform your Date Night into a Family Fun Night with children’s activities provided by the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library.
