Hoptown Harvest Festival

Continental Mills and Krusteaz present the 3rd Annual Hoptown Harvest Festival to be held in Downtown Hopkinsville on September 24th – 25th. Through a collaborative effort between many community organizations, this top-notch festival is sure to have something for everyone in the region to enjoy! This is an experience you will not want to miss out on so be sure to put it on your calendar and be part of the legacy!
The Founders Square Feast: A Farm to Table Event commences the festivities as dinner is served near dusk on Friday, September 24th under the Downtown Farmers Market pavilion. Each guest will receive a gourmet locally sourced meal catered by Chef Teeka of Southern Belle Catering along with dessert prepared by Heather & Graham Dawson of The Mixer. Local proteins, breads and in-season produce are paired with wines, spirits and craft beer from MB Roland Distillery, Casey Jones Distillery and Hopkinsville Brewing Company. Local flavors & delectable aromas will fill the pavilion area as the sun begins to set over Little River Park. Ambient music plays in the background as you enjoy your meal and conversations. Tickets are $60 per person or $450 per table of 8 ($30 discount).
The inaugural 5thK Bourbon Relay will kick off the festival at 11 AM Saturday morning, September 25th as registered pairs compete to take home prizes in several categories. The extremely short distance of Bethel from 7th to 8th Street makes this relay fun for any participant.
The Downtown Farmers Market Vintage Arts & Craft Fair opens at 11 AM in Founder’s Square. Peruse through hand-crafted jewelry, soaps, artwork, home-baked goods, a wide variety of proteins and in-season produce while sipping on a signature cocktail, craft beer or area wine created by local and regional distilleries, breweries and wineries. Bring your appetite to the festival as well, food vendor options from the Hopkinsville area will be set up with all kinds of wonderful flavors and dishes!
The Kentucky Bourbon Mashoree commences at 11 AM on Saturday, September 25th. We are so excited to pair tastes and tunes as live performances occur all day. Performers include Gil Gann Trio, Country Twang featuring line dancing with Dixie Majors, and the H Quartet. Experience musical entertainment starting at 11AM until the festival ends at 7 PM. Bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the festivities all day long with space in front of the stage and in the adjacent Little River Park.
The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is setting up an amazing kids zone with activity stations that are completely free. Pick out your own pumpkin to paint, get a temporary tattoo, enjoy grain bin play, yard size Connect 4, Cornhole, Bubble Zone, and get a caricature drawing of your entire family!
Proceeds from the Hoptown Harvest Festival benefit the Downtown Farmers Market, the Downtown Renaissance District, and their joint efforts to continue to bring public programming and events to Downtown Hopkinsville. Festival partners include the Downtown Farmers Market, the Downtown Renaissance District, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, the Christian County Cooperative Extension Service, MB Roland Distillery, The Peddler, Christian County Agri-Business Association, and the Division of Parks & Recreation.
