Make Christmas Bright Western State Hospital

Western State Hospital (WSH) in Hopkinsville, is seeking the help of the community in preparation for Christmas activities, to benefit patients at WSH and residents at the Western State Nursing Facility.
Individuals, groups and businesses can participate with a contribution or by donating gifts. There is a great need for contributions, which will be used to purchase additional holiday gifts, and for special occasions and activities throughout the year for patients. Community support helps ensure our patients have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Please keep in mind when purchasing clothing that we have patients in all sizes.
Clothing suggestions: Men’s and Women’s jeans, socks and underwear in all sizes. Please, no used clothing at Christmas and sweatshirts and sweatpants are not needed at this time.
Please contact Tony Winfield at 270/889-2823 to schedule a drop off time or-come to the main hospital entrance if you are bringing donations. Someone will contact our office to assist you. We can also make arrangements to pick up your donations. Also, please include your contact information so that we will be able to acknowledge your gifts.
We also ask that donations be received by Friday, December 19, 2020.
