  The Hopkinsville Art Guild’s “Midday with the Art Guild” programs are presented the second  Wednesday of the month at Noon for 1 hour in the Pennyroyal Area Museum.  This takes place in an atmosphere with social distancing. 

This month Grace Abernethy will share information about her career as a historic restoration artist.  She specializes in the study and restoration of historic painted finishes. She earned her Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Clemson University and College of Charleston in 2011 and has worked on historic buildings up and down the East Coast and throughout the South.

Abernethy was a recipient of the South Carolina Palmetto Trust for Historic Preservation Award in 2014 and won 2nd place in the Charles E. Peterson Prize for the Historic American Buildings Survey in 2011.

A light boxed lunch will be provided.  The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are required by May 8th.  They may be made at www.hopkinsvilleartguild.org
