Winter Waverly, TN Donation Drive

- DATES OF DONATION DRIVE: Monday, September 27th through Saturday, October 2nd.
- TIME: 9AM-7PM each day.
- WHERE TO DROP DONATIOINS: Western KY Fairgrounds in Hopkinsville, KY
- TRANSPORTATION: Watkins Express has graciously volunteered their services. They will park truck and deliver items once truck is loaded and ready to roll.
- LOGISTICS OF DONATIONS:
- I will have volunteers in place every day during the 9AM-7PM time frame. This will allow accurate sorting of items to help alleviate them being mixed up with other items at the fairgrounds in Waverly upon delivery.
- Watkins Expressed has confirmed delivery of trailer to fair grounds and will deliver when ready.

- Items can be delivered to their facility after October 1st.

- Scarfs
- Hats
- Socks
- Blankets
- Sweaters
- Space heaters
- Electric Blankets
- Undershirts
- Thermal underwear
- Boots
- Earmuffs
- House slippers/house shoes

- We want to make sure all items donated are sorted by men, women, children, etc. upon delivery of items. This will help distribution of much needed items easier and quicker to distribute once its placed-on truck and delivered.
- Used CLOTHING: For safety purposes, any used clothing HAS TO BE CLEANED AND LAUNDERED I want to ensure the safety of all individuals receiving items due to COVID<
- VOLUNTEERS: I’ve attached a mock schedule. If we have at least 4 people per shift, that should be enough to assist with the sorting, placing, etc. of items.
