A small fire, started by an overheated machine, led to a factory on Commerce Court in Hopkinsville being evacuated Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Captain Michael Pendleton said a machine caught fire at Plymouth Engineered Shapes. Firefighters were able to cool down the machine slowly with pressurized water extinguishers.
No one was injured in the fire that was contained to the one machine.
