Funeral services for 89-year old Guy Wayne Clark, Jr., of Hopkinsville will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Guy Wayne Clark, Jr., 89, of Hopkinsville, KY died Thursday morning, February 29, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
A native of Mayfield, KY he was born May 19, 1934. He was raised by his mother, Louise Clark, and his aunt and uncle, Jessie and Lloyd Clark. He was a United States Navy veteran. He retired as the President of Area Supply Company. Mr. Clark was a longtime member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, aunt, and uncle, he was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth Bassett Clark.
Survivors include his son: Mason (Theresa) Clark of Hopkinsville, KY; Sally Clark (Joe) Hach of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren: Joseph Karl (Marie) Hach, Carter Lee (Amber) Hach, Elizabeth “Liza” Bassett Hach, Charles Bassett Clark, and Annie Elizabeth Clark; and four great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church.
