Funeral Services for 87 year old Lou K. Dunn of Hopkinsville, KY will be Friday, May 3, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc. in Cadiz, KY.
Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.

Lou K. Dunn, age 87, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
Born August 27, 1936, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Byron and Lucy (Edwards) Kessinger.
Lou worked in the Budget and Finance Office for the Department of Defense at Ft. Campbell, retiring with 38 years of commendable service.
Married to the love of her life, Shirrell Dunn, on June 28, 1958, the couple shared 61 years until his passing in 2020. Together they danced through life, both figuratively and literally, as they enjoyed many evenings square dancing together. She cherished her family and friends and loved spending time with them.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Carithers and Joyce K. Parker.
Lou is survived by her son, Terry Dunn of Lexington, Ky.; daughter, Dianne Browning of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Daniel Dunn (Olivia), Elizabeth Dunn (Dustin Davis), Joshua Dunn (Hannah), and Meagan Lacks (Brent); and nine great-grandchildren, Madison Goodrich, Austin Goodrich, Haiden Dunn, Landon Dunn, Harper Dunn, Hynlee Dunn, Westen Lacks, Kenna Lou Lacks, and Tucker Dunn.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
