Funeral Services for 83-year-old William “Bill” Castile of Hopkinsville will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 5, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
William “Bill” Castile, age 83, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab of natural causes.
Mr. Castile was born in Indian Mound, TN, on August 7, 1941, the son of the late Buford and Pearl Kirkland Castile. Bill spent 25 years as a Welding Teacher and 13 years as a bus trainer for Christian County Public School System. He is a proud veteran of the US Army and was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Wiggleton Castile; his brother, Alfred Castile; and his sister, Helen McGarr.
Survivors include his son, Kacey Brent Castile of Hopkinsville; his brothers, Clarence Castile and wife Amy of Central City, Jerry Castile and wife Sherry of Hopkinsville; his sister, Carolyn Bozell of Hopkinsville; his grandchildren, Dalton Castile and his wife Kayce, Casey Ross and her husband B.T.; and his great-grandchildren, Harper Kirkendall, Piper Castile, Brinley Kirkendall, Isabella Castile, and Grayson Kirkendall.
