Funeral services for 81-year old Elaine Blane of Hopkinsville will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Elaine Blane, 81, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Christian Health Center.
A native of Christian County, KY she was born July 26, 1943 the daughter of the late Adlai C. Blane and Ethelene Clark Blane. She was retired from the former Trover Clinic where she worked as a Supervisor in Medical Records.
Survivors include her children: Kim Earl of Fishers, IN, Alan (Ashley) Gates of Hopkinsville, KY, and Kelly Gates of Hopkinsville, KY; her very special companion: Jimmy Barbee of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren: Derrick (Mona) Gates of Christian County, KY, Sara Earl (Walter) Gaman of Bloomington, IN, Marley (Clay) Smotherman of Murray, KY, and Latham Joiner of Hopkinsville, KY; her great grandchildren: Myra Gates and Elena Gates; and her nieces: Sherry (Steve) McGowan of Hopkinsville, KY, and Tammy (John) Curtis of Pembroke, KY.
