Funeral services for 88-year-old Thomas "Tommy" Barnett of Crofton will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton.
Burial will follow in Lanier Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
Thomas “Tommy” Barnett, 88 of Crofton, KY died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Brookdale Senior Living in Clarksville, TN.
A native of Crofton, KY he was born June 23, 1936 the son of the late Carlos A. Barnett and Ruby Terry Barnett. He was a coal miner and a farmer. He was a member of New Good Hope Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Jean Barnett; his siblings: Louise Barnett Keys, James Barnett, George Barnett, Frank Barnett, Howard Putman, Dixie Barnett, Faye Barnett and Carlos “Debo” Barnett.
Survivors include his son: Bryan (Velda) Barnett of Crofton, KY; and his daughter: Kim Rogers of Crofton, KY; his siblings: Kathleen East of Crofton, KY, Richard (Mary) Barnett of Crofton, KY, Anne Barnett of Hopkinsville, KY, and Connie Barnett of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Phillip Rogers of Crofton, KY, Chad (Sara) Rogers of Madisonville, KY, Jon (Christina) Barnett of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Whitney (Michael) Almy of Crofton, KY; his great grandchildren: Gavin Almy, Hyler Almy, Baron Barnett and Briggs Barnett.
Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer’s Association.
