Funeral services 73-year-old Brenda Joyce Alexander of Crofton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 20, 2025 at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton.
Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Brenda Joyce Alexander, 73, of Crofton, Kentucky died at 7:05 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Greenville Nursing & Rehab Center in Greenville, Kentucky.
A native of Chicago, Illinois she was born on August 27, 1951 the daughter of the late John H. Noffsinger and Ruthie Lee Jones Noffsinger. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John C. Noffsinger.
She was a member of Crofton Baptist Church and worked as Materials Manager for Freudenberg. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mid-Continent University with a Bachelor of Science degree and also a minor in Religious Studies.
Brenda was the leader of WMU for a number of years, as well as a Sunday School Teacher and instrumental in starting a number of other groups such as women’s prayer and Bible Study.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years: Kendall Alexander of Crofton, KY; her son, Kenneth Shain (Crystal) Alexander of Crofton, KY; her daughter, Tina R. (Michael) Parsons of Melbourne, FL; her brothers, Tommy Noffsinger of Murfreesboro, TN, Ronnie Noffsinger of Boswell, IN and Michael Noffsinger of Harrington, DE; her sisters, Shirley Noffsinger of Otterbein, IN, Pamela Marin of Oxford, IN and Shawna Campbell of Port Charlotte, FL. Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Contributions may take the form of donations to Crofton Baptist Church Building Fund.
